Official Rules – Run for Your Nike

“Run for Your Nike” is a digital competition powered by SportIn in partnership with Nike, designed to motivate daily movement in its simplest form, walking, running, or staying active. The challenge is open to individuals across Europe and aims to promote a healthy, active lifestyle through fun, motivation, and exciting rewards provided by Nike.

Who Can Participate?

  • Any individual 16 years or older residing in Europe.

  • Participants must use a smartphone or smartwatch to track their daily steps via the SportIn app.

  • An active SportIn account is required.

  • Participation is individual, but categorisation is automatic based on your average daily steps.

Competition Levels

Participants are grouped into four Levels based on their step activity:

  • Walker: 0 – 5,000 steps/day

  • Challenger: 5,000 – 10,000 steps/day

  • Runner: 10,000 – 25,000 steps/day

  • Legender: 25,000+ steps/day

Your level may adjust based on your performance throughout the challenge.

12 pairs of Nike shoes will be awarded, 3 winners per Level (1st to 3rd place):

RUNNER

1st – Pegasus Trail 5 GTX
2nd – Nike Journey Run
3rd – Nike Winflo 11

CHALLENGER

1st – Nike Motiva
2nd – Run Defy
3rd – Nike Revolution 7

WALKER

1st – Nike Motiva
2nd – Run Defy
3rd – Nike Revolution 7

Prizes are provided by Nike and will be delivered within 60 days after the competition ends, subject to stock availability. If a specific model is out of stock, it will be replaced with another model of similar category and retail value.

How It Works

  1. Sign up through the SportIn app and pay the €9 participation fee.

  2. Steps are automatically tracked daily via your phone or smartwatch.

  3. Real-time leaderboards show daily rankings.

  4. At the end of the challenge, the top 3 participants in each Level will receive Nike shoes.

Rules & Conditions

  1. One participant per entry.

  2. All provided data (name, email, phone number) must be real and verifiable. Nicknames or false contact info will lead to disqualification.

  3. Cheating or fraudulent behaviour - whether system-detected or reported, will result in automatic disqualification without appeal.

  4. Participation fees are non-refundable.

  5. SportIn reserves the right to adjust the rules, Levels, or prize structure if necessary, with prior notice to participants.

  6. The competition will only be held if a minimum of 100 participants register. If this number is not reached by July 15, the competition will be cancelled and all participation fees will be fully refunded within 30 days from the official announcement.

  7. In order to be eligible for a prize, a participant must not have received more than 3 Turtle badges throughout the challenge duration.

  8. In the event of a tie for any of the top 3 positions, the winner will be determined by the number of Puma badges collected. The participant with more Puma badges will rank higher.

Additional Rules & Responsibilities

  1. SportIn is not responsible for any technical issues experienced by participants, including but not limited to problems with step tracking, phone malfunctions, app syncing errors, or connectivity.

  2. It is the participant’s responsibility to open the SportIn app daily to ensure their steps are updated and correctly synced to the leaderboard.

  3. If a participant leaves or is removed from the competition, they cannot be re-added under any circumstances.

  4. Steps recorded outside the app or not synced on time due to inactivity in the app may not be counted.

  5. SportIn recommends verifying that your phone or wearable device has the required permissions and connectivity enabled for accurate tracking.

Prize Delivery

  • Prizes will be shipped only within Europe.

  • Winners will be contacted for delivery information.

  • Shipping will be completed within 60 days, depending on product availability.
