1. What’s This All About
The League of Brands is not just another challenge, it’s a full-scale national movement.
Fifty brands. Hundreds of players. Millions of steps.
Every stride matters. Every brand has a shot at glory.
We’re turning walking, running, and moving into a competition that mixes pride, teamwork, and good vibes.
From November 3 to December 14, brands across Romania will walk their way toward the Grand Final.
2. How It Works – The 3 Phases of Motion
Phase 1: Qualification (50 → 30)
10 groups of 5 teams each
Everyone plays 4 matches (round-robin)
The top 3 teams from each group move forward (30 total)
Matchdays: Nov 8, 9, 15, 16
Each match lasts 24 hours - most steps in the day wins
Phase 2: Intermediate (30 → 12)
6 groups of 5 teams each
Top 2 from every group qualify (12 total)
Matchdays: Nov 22, 23, 29, 30
Phase 3: The Big League (12 → 6 finalists)
2 groups of 6 teams (Group A and Group B)
Everyone plays 4 matches (max 2 per week)
Top 3 from each group qualify for the finals
Matchdays: Dec 5, 7, 12, 13
Finals Day: December 14 – All or Nothing
One massive 24-hour showdown.
Grand Final: 1st from Group A vs 1st from Group B
Small Final: 2nd from Group A vs 2nd from Group B
Bronze Match: 3rd from Group A vs 3rd from Group B
All three matches run in parallel for a full day of movement madness.
3. Match Rules and Points
3.a. Every match lasts 24 hours (00:00 – 23:59).
3.b. The team with the most steps wins the match.
3.c. If two teams finish within 1% distance from each other, it’s a draw.
3.d. A draw can only be declared by the participants, not by SportIn.
If neither team requests or acknowledges a draw, SportIn is not obligated to declare one.
3.e. The first tiebreaker will be the teams’ position in the Puma Leaderboard or can be also applied to replay the game but only if both teams agree.
3.f. If the Puma Leaderboard position is also equal, the result will be decided by the direct match between the teams.
Win = 3 points. Draw = 2 points. Loss = 0.
You can play up to two matches per week, so rest those legs in between.
Data sync closes after 48 hours after the finish of the match.
4. The Puma & Turtle System
Here’s where it gets fun.
After the first three days, the app will place everyone into one of four activity levels.
You’ll be ranked dynamically throughout the competition, because effort should adapt to performance.
Hit only your minimum daily target for your level = You earn a Turtle (minus one point).
Smash your maximum target = You earn a Puma (plus one point).
If a match or ranking is too close to call (within 1%), we use the Puma/Turtle balance to decide the winner.
So, yes, showing up matters. But pushing harder pays off.
5. The Sentinel System – No Cheating, Ever
We love enthusiasm. We don’t love faking steps.
Our Sentinel System automatically scans data from phones and watches.
If it spots weird patterns or unrealistic numbers, the team or player gets flagged.
If you’re caught cheating:
You’re out. Immediately.
Your name and team will be publicly disqualified.
You’ll be banned from all future SportIn events.
So walk, jog, or sprint your way to glory, but keep it honest.
6. Tiebreakers (For When It Gets Close)
Puma–Turtle balance
Direct match
Head-to-head result
7. Fair Play & Behavior
This is about movement, not meanness.
Compete with pride. Represent your brand.
No manipulation, no insults, no nonsense.
If you break the rules or act out, you’ll be warned once, then removed.
7.a. Inappropriate language or disrespect toward players can result in point penalties issued by SportIn.
8. Scoring, Tracking, and Visibility
All steps are tracked through the SportIn app, connected to Apple Health, Google Fit, Garmin, or Fitbit.
Every brand gets a live leaderboard, custom visuals, and shareable highlights.
Your brand’s logo and name appear next to every step you take.
That’s not marketing, that’s movement in motion.
9. Prizes and Glory

13. The Spirit of the League
This isn’t just a challenge - it’s a story.
A story about effort, pride, and community.
We’re not looking for perfect athletes.
We’re looking for brands and people who show up, step up, and move together.
Every step tells a story. Make yours count.
14. Participant Identity
All participants must use their real name in the SportIn platform throughout the League of Brands competition.
Using nicknames, aliases, or false identities is strictly prohibited.
Participants who do not comply with this rule may be disqualified, and their steps removed from the competition results.
This ensures transparency, fair play, and an authentic representation of each participant and their affiliated brand.
15. Additional Note:
The winners of each group from Phase 1 (1st place) will become cap de serie (seeded teams) in Phase 2.
This means they will be strategically placed at the top of their new groups, recognizing their performance and ensuring a balanced, fair, and competitive distribution of teams moving forward.
